This might not have anything to do with invitations, but thought it had to be said. It is in bad taste to take your shoes off at your celebration or at any party. I have seen quinceañera girl’s, the mother and the court remove their shoes because they were unable to wear them because they were to high. So when selecting your shoes for your quinceañera please keep in mind that you will be wearing them throughout the entire celebration. Base your selection on comfort rather than how pretty they look.

How to Print Invitations

Someone emailed us and asked: I like the idea of Saving Money and printing our own, but I’m scared I’m going to ruin the paper.
I understand completely! So this is what you do after you have your write up.
Never, never, use a brand new invitation to run through the first time.
FIRST, you get a blank sheet of copy paper and you put it over the invitation you’re going to print on. Use a pencil and outline the invitation on the copy paper (make several) and then cut around it. This is going to be your dummy invitation to experiment with. NEXT, mark the paper with an arrow that points in the direction of the printer. Then place the dummy copy paper into your printer or printer tray. After it prints, place the dummy paper over the actual invitation and look into the light so you can see the words through the invitation. Look at it and study it. Now you will have an idea, how you will load the paper (upside down, towards you etc). You will also be able to see if you need to adjust the movement of the invitation body, etc. Once you have printed several dummy copies and you think you have it all lined up… THEN put the real invitation paper in and print only ONE and see how it looks!
